EarlyHound

Find it before it's everywhere.

EarlyHound is where new products get found first — launched by the people who built them, backed by the people who use them.

What EarlyHound is

EarlyHound is a launch and discovery platform for new products. Builders launch here to reach early adopters on day one; the community signals and reviews what is worth a look; and every product keeps a permanent page that accumulates reputation long after launch day. If you are deciding where to launch a product, announce a new tool, or find software before it is everywhere — this is that place.

What happens here

Every day a board opens. Builders launch, scouts put forward things they found, and everyone else signals what is worth a look. At midnight the board closes and becomes a permanent archive — the day is ranked once and never edited.

A launch lasts a day. A reputation lasts longer, which is why the product page keeps going after the launch ends: reviews with four rating dimensions, counted pros and cons, and honest alternatives.

Why builders launch here

  • Real early adopters, not vanity traffic. The people signalling and reviewing are the people who try new tools first. Thirty of them who open your product beat three thousand who scroll past it.
  • Feedback you can act on. Reviews rate four dimensions, pros and cons are counted across reviewers, and every comment lands in your Builder Inbox. You leave launch day knowing what to fix next.
  • A page that keeps working. Your product page ranks in search, names honest alternatives, and collects reviews for years. The launch is the start, not the whole story.
  • Launching is free. Submitting a product costs nothing, and rank cannot be bought.

What we do differently

  • Rank is earned, never sold. Promoted rows carry a neutral chip and sit outside the ranking entirely. There is no placement that buys a position.
  • The formula is public. Scout Points are listed with their weights on the leaderboard itself.
  • Archives are permanent. A board from three years ago still renders at the URL it had on the day.
  • Reviews name the alternative. A review that cannot say what to use instead is a testimonial.

Who it is for

People who try things early — and builders who would rather be found by thirty of them than ignored by three thousand. Indie developers, startup founders and product teams launch here; the scouts who find things first use it to say so before anyone else.

Common questions

How do I launch a product on EarlyHound?
Submit your product, pick a launch date, and your launch appears on that day's board at 00:01 UTC. The launch guide covers timing, assets and what a good launch day looks like.
Does launching on EarlyHound cost anything?
No. Launching, being ranked and keeping a product page are free. Promoted rows exist, carry a neutral chip and sit outside the ranking entirely — there is no placement that buys a position.
What does a builder get out of a launch?
A ranked spot on the day's board, signals and structured reviews from early adopters, comments triaged in a Builder Inbox, and a permanent product page that keeps collecting reviews, alternatives and rank badges after the day ends.
Can I launch the same product more than once?
Yes. A product launches many times over its life — major versions and big releases each get their own launch day, and every launch builds the same permanent product page.
