Tidal Shipping Rates sets checkout shipping rates by postcode zone, weight and carrier. Surcharge remote areas like the Scottish Highlands or islands, or hide a carrier where it cannot reach. Show a real delivery date worked out from cut-off times, bank holidays and lead times. Route products to the right carrier by tag, and combine a mixed basket into one rate, or price each location separately. Needs a Shopify plan with third-party calculated shipping.

Flat-rate shipping is simple until a customer in the Highlands orders three boxes. Tidal gives checkout the rates a carrier would actually charge, with postcode zones, weight, and surcharges for the places couriers upcharge for.
The real delivery date at checkout is the part I would use first. Most stores still show "2-3 working days" because the alternative has been hand-editing a field per product. Here it comes from the carrier, the calendar and the cut-off time in one step.
