Stash

Stash captures screenshots, GIFs and screen recordings on Mac and embeds structured metadata that AI coding agents can actually read. Every capture includes an AI Context Banner showing the app, OS version, display settings, and an 8-character capture ID, plus XMP metadata and an accessibility tree inside the PNG. When you paste a Stash capture into Claude Code, Cursor, or any coding assistant, the agent sees the window structure, the mode, and an arrow you drew as structured data instead of guessing from pixels. The app also includes clipboard history, video recording with frame extraction, and favorites you can paste with a hotkey. Everything stays on your Mac by default.
