Sesame
1 commentThe first launch from Sesame
Sesame keeps logins, two-factor codes and recovery details in a vault on your own computer — no account required, and the hosted service never receives it. It imports from fifteen formats and shows you a preview before anything is saved. Open source, and honest that it is early.

Two things made me put this up rather than skip it. The recovery codes are treated as first-class rather than a notes field, and the front page says the security review is not finished and to use test data.
That second one is the reason I trust the first. A password manager that oversells itself at this stage is telling you something. Do not move your real vault yet — the author is not asking you to.
