Revenue Watchdog

Uptime monitoring for a storefront, not just a server

Monitoring & alertingStorefronts

A storefront can be up and still not be selling: a theme deploy that broke the cart, a price that changed to zero, a checkout step that stopped loading. Revenue Watchdog runs checks against availability, the catalogue and the checkout journey, opens an incident with timestamps and evidence when one fails, and emails the merchant before the customers do.

Shopify keeps the servers up, so merchants assume the store is up, and then discover from a customer email that the buy button has been broken since Tuesday's theme change.

The framing I like is catalogue drift as an incident. A price silently set wrong is an outage in every way that matters, and no server monitor will ever see it. At $49 a month this is for stores that lose more than that in an hour, which is more stores than it sounds.
