Paw-Paw is a free desktop pet for macOS. A small illustrated animal sits in the corner of the screen, taps along as you type and click, naps when you pause, and now and then says something encouraging. Using your Mac earns XP that unlocks dozens of Paw-Paws and more than 100 items to wear, and fast bursts set it On Fire for double XP. Season 2 added a Library window, achievements, and secret pairings. It counts key presses and clicks but never logs or sends what you type. Free, with one optional $2.99 artist collection. Made by a husband and wife team.
