minimi

minimi is a Mac personal-intelligence app that captures your context on-device, plugs it into AI via Memory MCP, and automatically closes the commitments you would otherwise forget. It reads what is on your screen via Apple's accessibility infrastructure (not screenshots), stores memory on your Mac with no cloud database, and traces your decisions so closed loops resolve without manual effort. The Memory MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and other AI clients access your personal context so you never re-explain yourself. Works out of the box with WhatsApp, Gmail, Calendar, and more apps — no integrations to configure. Free download for Mac. Built by Shram Intelligence, the company behind the product; official product brand is minimi.

Personal AI tools usually ask you to upload documents or paste context into a prompt. minimi runs on your Mac, watches your screen as you work, and closes the loops you opened in Slack or email without you remembering to chase them.
The Memory MCP part is what makes it more than another to-do app: your AI agents can read the same context your Mac saw, so they stop asking you for background. I have not connected it to a live Claude workflow yet. The first thing I would check is whether the on-device memory actually stays local, and whether the MCP server exposes useful context or just raw screen text.
