Howler is a macOS menu bar app for quick AI questions. Press a shortcut and a wax-sealed letter settles at the top of the screen: write on the parchment, a quill writes the answer below, and the letter burns when you press Esc. Bring any model and API, nothing is saved. Free and open source (MIT), signed and notarized, macOS 14 or later.
