Harness Manager is a native Mac app for managing your AI coding tools, skills, MCPs, and model configurations in one place. It provides a visual interface for comparing model performance, organizing coding agent skills and tools, managing MCP server connections, and tracking which configurations work best for different tasks. The app runs entirely local on macOS 14 and later, supporting both Apple silicon and Intel Macs. It is free and open source under the Apache 2.0 license. The current release is an early preview that is not yet notarized. Built by Juan Sebastian Solano.

The moment you run more than one coding agent is the moment you stop remembering which skills are installed where, which MCP servers work with what, and which model configuration you used for the thing that actually worked last week.

What caught my attention is that it treats the whole stack as one problem: the tools, the skills, the MCPs, and the model settings all in the same interface. I have not used it for a full project yet. The first thing I would check is whether the model comparison tracking actually surfaces useful patterns, or if it is just another settings organizer.
