Ferndesk
1 commentFerndesk is a complete help center with an AI agent that checks every article against your live product and codebase, catches what changed, and drafts the fixes for you. Connect your repo, live product, and support inbox in under ten minutes and Fern verifies each claim in your docs against what your product actually does. When something is wrong, she drafts the correction with the reason. New pull requests document themselves before the release ships. The platform includes a public portal under your domain, AI answers trained on verified docs, an in-app widget, API documentation with a try-it playground, private docs for teams and partners, multilingual support with preserved URLs, analytics on searches and failed answers, and one-click migration from existing help centers with every URL and redirect intact. Escalation hands off to Intercom, Zendesk, or Help Scout when the AI cannot answer. Built by Wilson Wilson. Teams report saving 20 hours a month on documentation.

The problem with help center tools is that they solve writing the first version and then leave you to keep it current by hand while you ship every week. Ferndesk is the other shape: an agent that reads your codebase and your live product, compares them to what your docs say, and drafts the fix when something drifts.
What made me look twice was the verification claim. Most doc tools with AI just generate text from a prompt. Fern checks each article against the actual product and flags what is wrong with a reason, which is a different relationship with accuracy. I have not migrated a real help center into it yet. The first thing I would check is how the verification holds up when your docs describe a workflow that spans three pages and two settings, or whether it only catches simple factual drift like a renamed button.
