Cubicle is a live pixel-art office for AI coding agents. Watch Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and Paperclip agents work in real time: they sit down and type, raise a hand when they need you, and go to the lounge when done. Pixel or HD themes with varied settings including HQ, plaza, warehouse, factory, space, and military. Real faces cropped from any photo, your logo on the wall, desktop alerts, replays and video export. One command with npx, zero dependencies, MIT licensed. Read-only by design: it can never approve or change anything. The optional write is your own Telegram reply, posted as a comment. Runs locally on your machine. The server is a single Node file of under 200 lines using only the standard library. It serves one HTML page and proxies a few requests. The page draws everything with fillRect on canvas. There are no image assets, no framework, and no build step. For Claude Code, Cubicle uses the official hooks. For Paperclip, it reads the issue data. Kiosk mode works on a TV or second monitor. Redact mode strips task titles and commands on the server for shared screens.
