CtrlOps
Local-first server management with AI

CtrlOps is a local-first desktop app for managing Linux servers with AI. It provides an AI terminal that generates commands from plain English, shows you the exact command, and waits for your approval before running anything on live infrastructure. The app runs entirely on your Mac, Windows, or Linux machine — your SSH keys and credentials never leave your device, and no agent is installed on your servers. It includes multi-server fleet management with named hosts instead of IP spreadsheets, real-time CPU, memory, and disk monitoring, a GUI file manager over SSH, security audits with hardening recommendations, SSH access mapping to see who can log in where, and one-click GitHub deployments for Node.js, Next.js, and React. Free trial available. Built by Daxesh Italiya, Parth Makwana, and Hiren Kalariya at TST Technology.

Most server management tools are either terminal multiplexers with no intelligence, or cloud DevOps platforms that require agents on every server. CtrlOps runs on your machine, talks to servers over SSH, and gives you an AI terminal that writes the command and waits for you to approve it before it runs.
The approve-before-run gate is what makes it different from other AI DevOps tools. The AI does the thinking, you make the call, and nothing touches production without your explicit approval. I have not managed a multi-server fleet with it yet. The first thing I would verify is whether the local-first claim holds up under real use: do credentials actually stay on your machine, and does the AI terminal work without sending context to a cloud service.
